With the rapid expansion of China's exhibition market and the deepening understanding of the development law of the exhibition industry, the exhibition industry, as one of the important service industries, has been paid more and more attention. In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the exhibition industry, the government, enterprises and industry organizations are committed to the marketization process of the exhibition industry. Looking at the future development of the exhibition industry, the industrialization trend will accelerate.

Among them, the government will comprehensively use economic and legal means to carry out macro-control. On the basis of establishing the dominant position of exhibition enterprises, the government will give full play to the service role of intermediary organizations and make great efforts to promote the development of exhibition industry. The Ministry of Commerce will establish and improve the management system and mechanism of the exhibition industry, and the management of the exhibition industry will shift from project approval to industry management, so as to further promote the marketization of the exhibition industry. In terms of management methods, the Ministry of Commerce will establish a work coordination mechanism with relevant departments of the exhibition industry, enhance communication, and jointly negotiate and formulate exhibition development policies and plans. Through the establishment of a unified Convention and exhibition management organization in various places, the Department concerned shall communicate and coordinate according to the requirements of the environment and supporting facilities related to the Convention and exhibition industry. At the same time, guide the construction of exhibition venues and supporting facilities, as well as the special decoration of the exhibition, so as to avoid the waste of resources caused by blind construction.

In addition, the Ministry of commerce also plans to focus on cultivating 100 brand exhibitions in the future and build a number of "exhibition aircraft carriers" with international competitiveness. During the 11th Five Year Plan period, the rapid growth of the number of exhibitors in China is a proof that the government has increased its support for the exhibition industry. Beijing Convention and Exhibition believes that with the acceleration of market-oriented reform of government led exhibitions, the exhibition industry chain will be further extended and developed, and the industry chain of related industries will be rapidly expanded.
